Terms of sale and site use

These terms govern use of the DualHelix Labs storefront and any order placed through it. By browsing the catalog or submitting an order you accept them.

1. Nature of the catalog

Listings describe research materials supplied for in-vitro laboratory research use only. A listing is an invitation to order rather than a binding offer to supply; an order is accepted only once we confirm it and the payment for it has been verified.

2. Eligibility

Orders may only be placed by, and on behalf of, research organisations and qualified laboratory personnel who can lawfully receive, store and handle research materials. You confirm you have authority to bind the organisation named on the order.

3. Permitted use

All materials are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only, as set out in the research use only policy, which forms part of these terms. Use in or on humans or animals, or for any diagnostic, clinical or therapeutic purpose, is prohibited.

4. Orders and pricing

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes, duties and import charges unless stated. We may correct pricing or specification errors and may decline or cancel any order, including where a stated use falls outside the permitted-use policy.

5. Delivery and risk

Delivery terms, packing and receiving checks are described on the shipping page. Risk passes on delivery to the address stated on the order. Discrepancies must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.

6. Documentation

Specification and certificate records describe the tested lot only. They are provided for verification purposes and do not constitute a warranty of fitness for any particular application.

7. Warranties and liability

Materials are supplied without any warranty beyond conformity with the published specification for the supplied lot. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DualHelix Labs excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of experimental work and loss of profit, and total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

8. Buyer obligations

You are responsible for hazard assessment, safe handling, training, storage, record keeping, waste disposal and compliance with all applicable laws and institutional policies in your jurisdiction.

9. Intellectual property

All original text, branding, artwork and code on this site belong to the DualHelix Labs project and may not be reproduced as your own without permission.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the platform develops. The version shown at the time your order is submitted applies to that order.
